Good food. Big portions. Laid back atmosphere.

We met with friends at this place for a meeting. This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was a winning. The crew were very polite and we felt excellent. The food was just great. We enjoyed every moment and we will visit this place again. Highly recommended.

My food was Delicious!! I was already eating it when I remembered to take the pictures. 😃. The fried Cauliflower was very TASTYI I will get it again. I had a to go order and the service I got was Awesome!! The waitress was very attentive and answered all of my questions . My family knows the Owner, Laura from West Cobb Diner. She's Great!! I will definitely continue to patronize both West and South Cobb Diners.

Fast friendly service. Excellent fried chicken livers and country fried steak. Jalapeno slaw is spicy and very good. So are the green beans, not bland like everywhere else.

Nothing but good things, no matter what you order you will be pleased. Working my way through the menu and consistently wonder why I don't come here almost exclusively. Highly recommend.

Who knew that Austell Ga had such an amazing place to eat. The food was DELICIOUS!!! The staff was so inviting and professional. This place is clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Did I mention how great the food is. The portions are plentiful as well. Must try the salmon, mac n cheese. Omg...the collars greens and the salad us the best. My friend had the fried green tomatoes and she closed her eyes and smiled when she took her first bite. She said they were the best she ever had. I had the Blackened Shrimp and Grits. Wow, phenomenal. The taste was mouth watering. I cant wait to go back. They even have paint parties on every Saturday. It was so much fun to be at a private paint party on a Thursday evening. It's a wonderful place to dine and have a party.

Awesome food! Will return. Huge portions. Modern rustic ambience. I met the owner. Nice guy. They even have a small space available for private events.

I've tried this place a few time, really trying to give it a chance. The taste and preparation of the food is not consistent. I won't be going back.

The food is always excellent, the reason that I have to take one star away is that they are slow. Really slow, it takes 20-30 minutes from when you order to get your food to the table. Again great food, I recommend.

Needed a place to study and work on the computer so I headed to this diner. They offer plugs at every booth and they keep your coffee cup full for the duration of your visit. The manager Tara and the waitress/bartender Shannon made my visit superb. They recommended Shrimp and grits, which was delicious and a Hennessy Margarita with was outstanding. This is my new study spot, which offers a full service bar when I need to unwind after cramming for four hours. Great food!!! Great environment!!! Outstanding customer service!!! No more waiting around at Starbucks for a seat and no loud music and chatter blasting in the background! Love this place!

Great service! My server was so entertaining, you'd think we'd known each other forever. I was greeted quickly and food was okay. I had chicken livers, cornbread, broccoli casserole and squash & onions. The squash was pretty flavorless so I wouldn't get that again, but that broccoli casserole... Heaven! The cornbread was good, not dry. And the lovers were so so. If definitely come back to try some of the other items.

South Cobb Diner tucked inside downtown Austell. I had a fried chicken patty with white gravy and mashed potatoes. Actually I thought I was going to get fried chicken. I wish the menu was a little more specific. This restaurant has a lot of fried food amongst other items you can order. Pretty much southern style cooking. The customer service was excellent and the restaurant has a unique atmosphere, very relaxing, clean and organized. The price is very reasonable with sizable portions.

The food is delicious and home made, the portions are large and the delivery is fast.

First time visitor to this little hidden gem in downtown Austell. It has a rather industrial vibe, with friendly, prompt service and decent food. We tried the shrimp & grits - delicious - and our two friends chose the thyme black pepper chicken sandwich & The Sandwich for their entrees. They seemed pleased, both with the portion size and the quality of the food. Will definitely return!

The food was delicious. The service was a little slow but they get a pass because I was there at an event. Everything on the menu looked good. I got an artichoke dip appetizer that had big chunks of artichoke. I got the chicken and waffles as my main. The waffles were big and fluffy and sweet, it came with a strawberry jam. The chicken was breaded and cooked well without being greasy.I can't wait to go back.

The food is so good at this place I have to go back for more. I can't wait to try all their food. Better hurry they're always full of people. What are you waiting for?

Crab cake sliders were banging! Nice chill atmosphere although a little ambient decor would level up the establishment. Still, great food and service. Waitress was also easy on the eyes 😊

First time eating there. I ordered "Granny's Meatloaf." (I normally do not order meatloaf from any diner) I was skeptical when the plate was brought to the table, and there were what appeared to be two large meatballs! But when I started to eat, I found it to be very good! The service and price were very good also! I do recommend!😋

Food was awesome. If you like chicken livers, they had the best ever. The atmosphere was good and the employees were personable.

I had fried shrimp and waffles and it was sooooo delicious. The homemade sauces were very tasty. I am definitely coming back. Our waitress was very nice and attentive.

Always love my experience at this place! With an upgraded menu and expanded seating, my dining experience was even more satisfying! The service is impeccable and everyone is friendly. Your food is fast, delicious and seasoned well. I will keep coming back!

Southern American fare served by seasoned pros. Our waitress, Tiffany, was great! Service was fast and friendly. Most of the cakes and pies are provided by Mother's Finest Catering – don't pass on these!

This place has great food! The lighting is a little bright for me. The ambiance ok but nowhere near the level of their location in west cobb.

Food was good, but after I found out that they received a 48 on their health inspection this past week, I definitely won't be back. Mad I tried them out in the first place.

My mom, sister and I visited the diner for the first time yesterday. Everything was hot when it arrived and the flavor was exceptional. We got a to go box since the servings were so plentiful. We will be back!!

The food at South Cobb Diner reminds me of the dishes I enjoyed at family gatherings when I was a child. I loved every bite, and we had an excellent server.

Frisco Burger (Blend of Brisket, Short Ribs & Chuck) is huge and juicy on Sourdough bread. Great flavor and quality!!! They serve a wide variety of cakes and pies. Staff is friendly and efficient.

Good food Covid-19 has them a little limited.

Buffalo chicken sandwich was awesome! The service was fast and on point. I will return in the future.

This place a hidden gem. The food was excellent. I had the fried pork chops, mac and cheese and lima beans. The waitress was provided great service. She gave get suggestions on what the try. Nice little spot to eat

A gem in Austell! Food was surprisingly delicious! My 5 year old ate off of every plate and not just small bites!! He loved the chicken and waffles especially! The food was fresh and this was no can food!! In the mood for a good meal without the hassle of all day cooking, I would totally suggest trying out South Cobb Diner!

At the first moment you arrive in this restaurant the waiters give you an enjoyable feeling. Very courteous team, it is a good place to enjoy with buddies or with your date. tasty meals, professional chef de cuisine, modest pay and generous service. Warmly recommended.

I have only been there a couple of times but, the food variety and quality were excellent. Everone working there was friendly and helpful. If you like Southern country cooking, then come check it out.

The food was great, but no gravy for the country fried steak on my to go order.

Must try!! The food was incredible. I had the chicken fried chicken based on my server, Marco's recommendation. Served on a bed of garlic smashed potatoes & fried squash. I am already looking forward to my next meal there.

Great prices. Great food. Great service. The Mahi Mahi tacos were good along with the sweet potato fries. The service was great as well. Will definitely be back.
